Hey Ya’ll! Carter Parton Rogers here. I hope ya’ll are havin’ a great day. The other night I posted on the Facebook and on the Twitter that “Sometimes nighttimes are lonely. It’s best to keep your mind busy…” I think that’s a good cure for feelin’ lonesome and one thing I do to keep busy is write songs and make up music. So for the past few weeks I’ve been writin’ and workin’ on a song. So far I only have a few chords and notes, but I think ya’ll’ll like it. I can’t wait to share again when it’s finished.

Hey Ya’ll! Carter Parton Rogers here. I am SO excited to share some behind-the-scenes and video from the show last night. I was in The C Word Show at The Comedy Store in The Belly Room and had THE BEST TIME!!!!! It was so much fun. Thank you again to Jodi, Kristal and Sunah for havin’ me in your show. Ya’ll are so talented and I felt honored to be a part of it. Thank ya’ll.
And thank you to everyone who’s been supportin’ me online and to all ya’ll that came out to the show. Thank you to my dear Hal for bein’ there and takin’ lots of pictures. Thank you Cousin Ken for helpin’ us take pictures and video outside and for reassuring me that you thought “C” in The C Word Show was for “Country”. Even though that didn’t end up bein’ the case – it still helped my nerves before the show. And thank you to my sweet friends Talya and Mark for comin’ out. So great to see all ya’ll!

Hey Ya’ll! Carter Parton Rogers here. It’s show day. I am in the middle of gettin’ ready and just thought I’d share some show day stuff with ya’ll. Oh my I’m all off center in my video and forgot to put my website at the end. I’m havin’ a flustered day. I did make up a new word in it though…ya’ll’ll hear it toward the end. Hope you can come see me in The C Word Show tonight at The Belly Room in the Comedy Store. I added the flyer below the video with all the info.
Hey Ya’ll! Carter Parton Rogers here. Happy Monday! I met some of the most wonderful people over the weekend. Katie, RJ and Sierra. I met them first through the Twitter just a while back and we’ve become friends and I’ve learned what talented ladies they all are. And so nice too. Real salt of a the earth. Katie is an artist and she painted a paintin’ of me! Ya’ll! She did it by hand. It’s amazin’ how talented Katie is. I asked her how she did it and she said “The painting is acrylic on board” and “I just divided the gradation of tones into sections, then it’s almost paint by number using a monochromatic color scheme. I start with the darkest shadow and paint to the lightest highlight. I did a series for a show here in Fresno a few years ago based on local musicians http://my.fresnoarts.net/photo/albums/fresno-music”
